Meet the change makers

On July 27, 1740, more than 280 years ago was born the 1st woman to circle the globe. Sorry for the lateness of my greetings but Joyeux Anniversaire Madame Jeanne Barret!

What an inspiring story for this orphan at the age of 15, from the peasant class. This exceptional botanist and explorer embarked on Bougainville expedition - disguised as a man- at a time where women were forbidden to embark on vessels of His Majesty.

What is your key learning? For me it is the following:

How many times, did I said to myself that something is impossible while facing barriers of all kind?

Such an inspirational character reminds a quote of Nietzsche: "The worst enemy you can meet will always be yourself.” To overcome the most difficult challenges and make our dreams come true, I believe in 1st removing the limit we set for ourselves, 2nd demonstrating willpower and creativity, and 3rd work alongside exceptional and trusted people.
