LA friends — this is a special one.
My client Hamish Sturgeon wrote, directed, and stars in GOSSAMER, a beautiful, haunting 21-minute short film about identity, survival, memory, longing, and self-invention.
I had the chance to watch it, and I was genuinely stunned. Hamish’s performance is raw, brave, emotional, and completely compelling — and the film stayed with me long after it ended.
There will be a special screening on June 1st at the Renberg Theater at the Los Angeles LGBT Center, followed by a Q&A with Hamish and Natalie Mitchell, and a conversation about creativity, acting, and creating your own work, moderated by Margie Haber.
All proceeds benefit the Los Angeles LGBT Center and The Shameless Fund.
