Goods In Controller
Job Description
• Supervise the unloading of trucks and containers
• Locate incoming goods into Goods Received Location
• Check goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and damages
• On approval of goods in, release goods for locating in warehouse
• Notify Customer Service or customer of goods receipt within 6 hours
• Notify Customer Service of damaged goods received and place in the Quarantine Area
• Control Cardboard recycling and advise Ops when collection required
• Maintain housekeeping in department including side yard
• Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded
• Ensure stock is received and compared to packing list
• Advise customer of any missing packing lists
• Complete GRN for all deliveries inc No of pallets & boxes & pass to accounts
• Raise Purchase Requisition for any pallet requirements
• Ensure forklift check sheets are available and completed daily
• Any other reasonable request that is required to support business activity
