Your waste doesn't end in the bin; some people pick it up for disposal, consider there SAFETY.

All sharps should be stored separately while ensuring appropriate segregation of other waste categories at the point of generation. Your duty of CARE begins from here!!!.

There's a granulated poisoned bait (aluminium phoshide and food crumbs) in plastic vials meant to kill rats in wide circulation.

This rat poison can get easily dispersed into indoor-air, vitiating its quality and freshness, and exposing occupants to high risk of chemical poisoning.

Kindly note that this poison is as toxic to humans as it to rats, with a very acute effect.

Don't be the prey in your bid to kill a rat. Employ the service of a professional.

Unarguably, risk of contracting communicable diseases doubles at a time like this, hence, these safety tips to reduce vulnerability to As Low As Reasonably Practicable - ALARP .

1.Avoid harvesting food items from flooded water, except for canned food items. The labels on such items should however be removed (the removable and re-label- indicating name and expiration date) with the cans sterilised with hot water before storage and subsequent ussage.
2.Boil tap water before drinking or using for food preparation, especially Ready-To-Eat (RTE) food.
3.Ensure effective hand-hygiene practice always.

Barka De Sallah to all Muslim faithfuls. As we slaughter, cook and eat the rams, cows, camels, etc today, let's have in mind to ensure precautions, towards staying healthy in the celebrations.

We therefore advise that you avoid eating pink meat and ensure all meats are properly cooked or fried from the core to a safe temperature of >72 Degree Celsius before consumption, to avoid potential risk of food poisoning.
