Renaissance Secondary School in Musina has officially opened its new state of the art science laboratory, a milestone made possible through a partnership between Venetia Mine and the Young Diamantaires.

What began in 2019 as a shared vision to improve STEM education has now become a modern, fully equipped space for Grade 10–12 learners to explore science through hands on experiments.

This project is more than new infrastructure, it’s an investment in future scientists, engineers and innovators, and a powerful step forward for education and opportunity in the Musina community.

A huge congratulations to our Venetia Mine team for receiving the Significant Achievement Award at the 2025 MineSafe Conference and Industry Awards Day!

The Significant Achievement Award is a key category within the annual MineSafe Industry Awards, recognising organisations that have made outstanding contributions to health, safety, and sustainability in the mining industry.

It’s been an exceptional safety year at Venetia Mine, and this milestone reflects the hard work, discipline, and dedication of our people underground and on surface.

Well done, team. You continue to raise the bar for safe, responsible mining.

Our team is at the 5th Annual Limpopo Investment Conference, where leaders from across business, government, and communities have come together under the theme “Limpopo Rising: Africa’s New Investment Frontier.”

It’s an inspiring platform to share how Venetia Mine continues to invest in the province, from developing one of the world’s most advanced underground mines to supporting local entrepreneurs, creating jobs, and building skills for the future.

A special thank you to the beneficiaries of our Enterprise & Supplier Development Programme for helping us tell the story of the good that diamonds do: Martin Masipa (Director, Lehlowedi Pty Ltd), Pfuluwani Dafrey Tshilande (Director, Hope Diamond Transport), and Selinah Ntjana (Director, Selinah the Goat Agri Pty Ltd). Your passion and success remind us what sustainable mining can achieve when communities and business grow together.

Limpopo truly is rising, and we’re proud to be part of that journey. 💎
