The Yadkin Valley Pumpkin Festival is coming up on Saturday, September 26th in Downtown Elkin, and we have several great opportunities for local businesses and organizations to get involved as sponsors!

This festival brings thousands of visitors into our community for a full day of fall fun, and sponsorship is a great way to support the festival while promoting your business to attendees from throughout the Yadkin Valley and beyond.

This year’s sponsorship opportunities include:

The Yadkin Valley Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize Classic Concessions as our August 2026 Member of the Month!

Classic Concessions has become a favorite throughout our community, serving up delicious funnel cakes, snow cones, cotton candy, candied apples, and other sweet treats at countless local events. From school football games and church events to weddings, festivals, and community celebrations, Mitch and the entire Classic Concessions team are always there helping make special moments even sweeter.

The wait is almost over! Join us for Buckin’ Elks Midnight Madness as we officially kick off the football season and celebrate the first day of hitting practice in North Carolina!

📅 Monday, August 3
📍 Grissom Stadium – Elkin High School

🕗 8:00–9:30 PM – Pancake Meal with the Jr. Elks (EHS Cafeteria)
🥞 All players and coaches eat free.
👨‍👩‍👧 Parents and spectators are welcome for just $5.

🏈 Throughout the evening:
• Punt, Pass & Kick Competition
• High School Weight Room Max Out
• Football Drills with the Jr. Elks
• Recovery & Cool Down

🕙 Grissom Stadium gates open at 10:00 PM.

🚗 Parking: If you arrive between 8:00 PM and 10:15 PM, please park in the student parking lot. Gates on Memorial Park Drive will open at 10:00 PM.

Please join us in welcoming Christine Blydenburgh as the new Interim Executive Director of the Yadkin Valley Chamber of Commerce!

Christine, alongside her husband Joe, owns and operates a lodging and event center in Dobson. With an extensive background in hospitality and customer service, she brings a wealth of experience, energy, and leadership to this role.

She has faithfully volunteered on several Yadkin Valley Chamber committees, helped plan and execute many of our annual events, and currently serves on our Board of Directors. Her passion for serving our members and strengthening our community makes her a great fit to lead during this transition.

Christine is excited to work alongside our members, volunteers, staff, Board of Directors, and community partners as we continue serving our region and building on the Chamber’s success.

🎉 Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Celebration! ✂️

It was a pleasure attending the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting this morning for Yadkin Valley Chamber of Commerce member Culver’s!

They are officially open for business, so come on out, grab a great meal, and help welcome them to our community. From their famous ButterBurgers to their Fresh Frozen Custard, everything is cooked to order and well worth the wait.

Elkin is truly blessed to have Culver’s investing in our community and creating nearly 100 local jobs. That’s a tremendous impact for our area, and we’re excited to see them become a part of our growing business community.
