The cost of waiting is higher compared to when you just do it now.
OR IS IT?
Sitting here, doing nothing, just enjoying our honeymoon by the beach of Jambiani, in Zanzibar 🇹🇿 Thinking of all the precious ideas coming into my head after deciding for almost 7 months to completely stop everything that I do with my business after….
1. getting sick for a while
2. looking for a lot in Tagaytay to finally have a place we can call home.
3. planning for the wedding
4. And now, our honeymoon in Tanzania.
Many would say, I have it all, but I would say, You are wrong.
Not everything we see on social media is true.
Most of my friends see me travelling around, but they don’t see this version of me.
1. Taking down notes of my new ideas and realisations while eating my lunch.
2. Or waking up at 2:00 am in the middle of the night to write my copy and scripts, build my product offer and funnels or mentor someone across the globe.
I still long for a sense of purpose and personal achievements in life.
And as a wife following my husband around wherever he goes, I follow, and it’s so easy to get derailed while I’m already in the Philippines or somewhere else and just completely forget and set aside my own career, business and dreams.
Yes, I paused; yes, I stopped everything I had been doing.
And the funny thing is that I didn’t actually do any of those crazy things that most online gurus will tell you…
1. Buy the next big AI course!
2. Scale with FB ads
3. Or funnel up!
4. Tweak your offer, etc.
5. The worst is joining a new business opportunity!
Doing nothing actually gave me a lot of CLARITY, SENSE OF PURPOSE AND DIRECTION.
My realisation: The more I learn, the more complex my business gets, and the more it weighs me down.
Now I learnt to simplify my business.and follow Pareto's principle of the 80/20 rule.
Just do 20% of what gives me 80% results and focus on doubling down that strategy. That's it.
The answer won't be found in the NEXT COURSE or NEW MENTOR or NEW STRATEGY; it’s been hiding in the blind spot of my business that is already deep within me.
You can literally pinpoint what’s blocking your growth and success because they are already inside your business; you just need a personal guided internalisation of where to look!
This process most of the time is just between you and your business.
What I learnt during this moment is that every time my business stopped or plateaued, THE ANSWER IS NOT IN THE NEXT BIG STRATEGY!
The answer has been hiding in the blind spot that is already in my business.
And once you see it, you can fix it! And only by then will this work…DOING IT NOW!
Because again, ‘The cost of waiting is more compared to when you just do it now.’ (When you are ready)
Then, start doing the CEO Ninja moves that will actually start growing the business.
But not until you pause, take a break and have that CLARITY and LASER FOCUS idea of where to start tweaking your self and business alignment.
We all need that quiet moment in our lives to start gaining back ideas and crystallising that reason why we do what we do.
