Ho-ho-who's ready for the Viva Port Talbot Christmas Parade 2023 THIS Saturday?!

We're bringing a whole load of festive family fun to Port Talbot town centre as we ring in the season in style! We’ve got everything you need to plan your day right here, so keep reading and get yourselves sorted 👇

🤩🥁 Our MEGA parade sets off at 11am from outside Happy Home Furnishers and features a host of community groups, bands, and our biggest roster of characters yet! Elsa, Anna, Spider-Man, Batman, Mickey, Minnie, and more will all be there – they'll be sticking around til 2pm so there’s plenty of time to meet them all!

👯🎶 Community music and dance groups will take to our Civic Square stage from 11:45am, hosted by our friends from Pinocchio - Family Pantomime! Plus, The Thrillionaires join us from 1pm with a load of Christmas covers to get you rockin’ around the Christmas tree – literally!

🎅🎄 After his stroll in our parade, Santa is set to officially open his Grotto in the Aberafan Shopping Centre at 1pm! Help him sort out his magical mishap by calling in to see him – his sleigh has definitely seen better days 🫣

🎁🛍️ Pick up some extra Christmas gifts (or maybe just treat yourself!) at our markets outside on Forge Road and inside The Business Community at Glan Afan, open from 10am!

☃🤪 Take a spin on the bumper cars in Civic Square and snap some pics in our snow globe on Riverside Walk!

🧑‍🍳🍪 Get stuck in with some sweet Christmas crafts from A Taste of Times Past in Aberafan Shopping Centre! Decorate Christmas cookies in the morning and create your own elves, fairies and Nisse in the afternoon ✨

🎨📚 Pop into Port Talbot Library for even more crafts with Christmas card making, colouring, and Lego club, all on from 10am to 4pm!
