HOW TO GET A FLOOR PLAN THAT WORKS FOR YOU
Some people just buy generic house plans on the street while others just want their house to look like the next door neighbour's. Others want a house like one they saw in a coffee table magazine in a salon, restaurant or office.
However, your house plan should work for you. It should suit your income and lifestyle and address your special needs, privacy, comfort and remain functional.
The best way to go about this therefore is actually a consultative process with the key partners like your spouse, the architect and other important persons. Get advise on materials, finishes, arrangement of rooms, aesthetics, lighting, acoustics, ventilation, security, circulation of people and other important aspects and still retain your desired look and feel.
Get a plan that works for you, tailor made to suit your taste. Your deserve a good home and we are here to make sure you get just that.

ConstructionTip_ #3: FALSE CEILINGS (Gypsum)
Ceilings are sometimes the most neglected part of a construction, but there are ways in which these could add beauty to a room. False ceilings/ suspended ceilings are a type of an artificial ceiling created as a lowered extension of the existing ceiling. The gap between the actual ceiling and false ceiling was used to install lighting and air-conditioning vents.
Gypsum is one of the best materials for a false ceiling. It is relatively cheap, volatile and flexible to fit any design you can imagine. However, the quality of the output depends on the personnel you hire to fix it. Always hire skilled professionals for a flawless finish.
City Construction and Project Management (in association with Wallpaper Kenya and Knauf) seeks to add sophistication to your indoors and improve your gypsum experience. Contact us on 0726600349.

ConstructionTip_ #1: BATHROOM TILES.
Polished, glossy floor tiles (either ceramic, porcelain or granite) might look good to the eye for your bathroom floor but they pose great slip/skid danger. Do not let the general aesthetics of a floor tile override your scrutiny of their basic functionality. When it comes to choosing floor tiles for your bathroom, the primary properties are their water resistance, stain resistance and skid/slip resistance. Polished tiles therefore fail at meeting these requirements. Your easiest pick would be non-slip ceramic tiles with water absorption of 0.2% to 0.6%. Polished tiles can be used on your bathroom counter, bathroom walls and the wall backslash
