This video interview with Jeremie Fosse, Founder and Director of Eco-Union (Barcelona), is part of our TeraMed Talks series – conversations with partners shaping a shared, renewable future for the Mediterranean.
“We are supporting the TeraMed initiative because we see it as the way to go to green energy – and to provide prosperity for all citizens living around the Mediterranean Sea.”
TeraMed is a bottom-up, people-centered initiative, driven by civil society and built around the real needs of communities, while being supported by governments, donors, and businesses delivering solar, wind, and clean-tech solutions on the ground.
As Jeremie explains, this transition depends on strong collaboration between society, public authorities, municipalities, regions, and the private sector – anchored in shared commitments and regional frameworks such as the Paris Agreement and the Barcelona Convention.
“We don’t have time to lose. We need to implement clean technologies at every scale – from rooftops and homes to mobility, wind, and large-scale systems – while protecting the Mediterranean environment.”
With its exceptional renewable potential, the Mediterranean can lead.
TeraMed’s ambition – reaching 1 TW of renewable energy capacity by 2030 – is about climate action, regional cooperation, and shared prosperity.
🎙️ More TeraMed Talks are coming soon, featuring interviews with our partners across the Mediterranean – stay tuned.
