On 05/19/2026 at 15:47 hours, the Pringle Fire Department was dispatched on the first-alarm assignment for a residential structure fire on Main Street in Swoyersville. Upon arrival, crews observed active fire and smoke coming from the structure. Engine 171-2 established a water supply from the hydrant on Main and Kirby Street and advanced approximately 400 feet of supply line to Kingston Engine 4. Units from multiple areas worked together to extinguish the fire and overhaul the structure. Pringle Engine 171-2 operated for approximately 1 hour before for being released by fire command.

On 03/13/2026 At 12:08 hours, the Pringle Fire Department was dispatched to a residential structure fire on Hoyt Street in Pringle. Upon arrival, crews observed active fire and smoke coming from the structure. Due to limited manpower, a second and third alarm were called as crews worked to extinguish a persistent fire within the walls of the structure. We extend our gratitude to all mutual aid departments that responded to assist us with this incident.

At 15:07 hours, the Pringle Fire Department was dispatched to the rear of Grove Street to respond to an unattended burn barrel. Upon arrival, crews discovered a barrel filled with burnt cardboard and extinguished the remaining fire.
