Qualifications earned in piano technology at the Northern Metropolitan College of TAFE Preston. The two year full time course covered grand and upright piano tuning, regulation, major and minor repairs, restoration and a myriad of other subjects including woodwork, metal work, business studies and acoustics. Whilst at NMCOT David was fortunate to be able to study new piano manufacture with hands o

n experience under Wayne Stuart the creator of the Stuart Piano. He is also a member of the Piano Tuner and Technicians Guild Victoria and is a Yamaha Authorised Service Agent (116). David is the piano tuner of choice for many educational institutions that have a specialist music stream here in Melbourne.
