Conveniently situated 60 km from Sun City, 70 km from Hartbeespoort Dam, 170 km from OR Tambo International airport, 110 km from the West Rand and 150 km from Pretoria. The nearest town being Koster, 16 km away, and Rustenburg a mere 40 km from its well known Waterfall Mall.
The property has very unique features like a variety of habitats, ± 3.5 km of the Selons river running through it, – although small, running throughout the year, unbelievable views from the top of the valley looking down unto the river 400 m below, a big river pool ideal for those hot sunny days and relaxing under the huge “witstinkhout” trees. A 270.0492 hectare portion of this 520.4798 hectare game farm, completely fenced with 4.5 km game fencing, is on offer as a 49% partnership in the game farm. Infrastructure in place on the remaining 250.4306 hectare comprise of, 2.75 km overhead ESCOM electricity supply, a 105 m deep borehole providing water for human and game consumption, 30 km new roads and 15 km upgraded existing roads, and accommodation facilities in place for the owner of the game farm and invited guests.
The accommodation facilities comprise of large wooden decks, overlooking the valley with the river below, build right on the edge of the valley. The four original decks were all fitted with double hot showers and flush toilets, all open, overlooking the valley and river, all dug out into the solid rock underneath the wooden decks. Accommodation comprises of a basic 3m x 3m canvas tents with extension to serve as kitchen etc.
The title deeds to both these farms are held by the company Drirad Properties (Pty) Ltd entirely owned by one owner.
The 49% partnership share owner will hold the title deed to the 270.0492 hectare section of the farm, and will be entitled to use the accommodation facilities situated on the remaining 250.4306 hectare of the farm with all the amenities if the farm is not divided and remain as a free range open space game farm. The current running cost of the game farm will be proportionally shared by the owners.
