OUKASI CRIME SUSPECTS APPREHENDED IN MABOPANE

MABOPANE – Community crime prevention activist Tshenolo PI says three men alleged to have been involved in a wave of violent crimes in Oukasi were apprehended during an early-morning of Wednesday operation in Mabopane.

According to Tshenolo PI, community members requested assistance after residents had allegedly been living in fear due to a series of violent incidents linked to the suspects.

The operation reportedly took place at approximately 03:00 in Winterveldt and Block CV areas of Mabopane, where the suspects were located and detained.

Tshenolo PI further alleged that a firearm believed to be connected to the murder of a South African National Defence Force (SANDF) member was recovered during the operation. The firearm is also alleged to have been stolen from the deceased soldier.
