I was invited to view the new Amura restaurant at the Mount Nelson yesterday.
Designed by the talented - the decor is just WOW! I stood looking around with my mouth open until I pulled myself together. It’s just so beautiful. And green. In all ways.
Even the staff uniforms and shoes are made from recycled materials. #

Amura debuts as an immersive marine dining experience helmed by three-Michelin-starred chef Ángel León.

Overlooking an open kitchen, the restaurant offers guests a one-of-a-kind culinary experience where each dish is crafted to highlight the finest flavours of Cape Town’s glittering coast. With a strong commitment to sustainability, the menu focuses on responsibly sourced fish and “bycatch” species, changing daily to showcase the best of the ocean.anne.mason and I have been invited for dinner once our schedule clears a bit - we will update you! Safari Surprise: A Speedy Encounter with a Spotted Superstar 🐆

Yesterday’s game drive gave us a true – a cheetah sighting that was as graceful as it was thrilling!

Fun fact: Cheetahs are the only big cats that can’t roar. Instead, they purr, chirp, and even yowl like a housecat who missed breakfast.

We surprised our guests with a lunch & learn at the river with the dynamic and team from . The day ended off perfectly with sightings of White Rhino, Zebra and Buffalo. 🦬 🦏 🦓
