Stains, everyone hates them, what can you do when you spill something on your carpet or upholstery?

The first few minutes are import, firstly do not pour any liquid into the stain, as that spreads the problem further, use carlton or loo paper to blot out the spill, keep blotting until there is no more liquid on the paper. Then use a bit of soapy water and give the area a light scrub. Only then pour clean water onto it, then blot again till it not transferring anymore, then use a hairdryer to dry it.

The previously stained area my become cleaner then the area around it, so you may want to feather around the edges of the area to blend the colours.
