International Marine Protected Areas (MPA) Day was insightful. Organized by Youth4MPAs, in collaboration with the Two Oceans Aquarium Foundation and Wild Trust

The day's highlight was a keynote from Dr. Philile Mbatha. The day went to engaging different stakeholders in response to a marine challenge statement to a panel discussion on MPAs - their objectives and history. And various presentations on marine activities and the different ways to get involved in ocean conservation.

We are excited to gain insight on a new tool to advance our passion for ocean conservation.

Morning and a Happy Marine Protected Areas (MPA) Day to all! 💃🏿

We went from serving our 67 minutes on Mandela Day and are now gearing up to experience MPA Day with Youth4MPAs at the Two Oceans Aquarium this morning 😊

8 dedicated members removed 78kg of waste from our beach yesterday. Our beaches and oceans give us so much. It’s time we give back.

Protecting marine life starts with keeping plastic out of our seas. One clean-up at a time 🌊♻️
