Fuata Moyo kicks off its Nairobi programme with Studio 18, bringing together fashion, wearable art, customisation and community under The heART of Collaboration - our growing vision for connecting African creatives, brands and audiences across cities and borders.

The day begins with an interactive customisation workshop from 2–6 PM, inviting participants into Fuata Moyo’s creative process and approach to turning clothing into individual works of expression.

From 6 PM–12 AM, the space shifts into an evening mixer and pop-up, creating an opportunity to discover and shop Fuata Moyo pieces, connect with the teams, meet Nairobi’s creative community, and experience the collaboration through fashion, music and conversation.

We decided to bring back our heART in Session creative event, and because it’s Women’s Month, this activation is called Follow Her heART Beat once again.

Follow Her heART Beat is an event by Fuata Moyo, curated to celebrate women, their creativity, their stories, and the incredible work they contribute to the creative industry.

Join us this Saturday, 22 August, as we curate a full-day celebration of women, giving you the opportunity to learn, create, connect, and be inspired.

We’ll be hosting an all-women art exhibition, fashion pop-up, live music and DJ sets, as well as two amazing hands-on creative workshops. The day will also feature a women’s panel conversation, creating a space to listen to and learn from inspiring female voices in our creative industry.

The event is inclusive and open to everyone, but women-led. Come celebrate with us, create with us, connect with our community, and experience the incredible creativity of women.
