To advise * To develop * To build * To improve workplace confidence
To be a global contender, South Africa must be able to compete at a world-class standard. This necessitates the optimising of organisational and institutional performance. The Institute for Performance Management was established in 2004 with the specific aim of advising and enlightening organisations and institutions on how to le
verage their resources for maximum impact and success. The company has quickly become recognised as a major contender in the field, particularly in the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard and its 11- Steps to Municipal Excellence©™ methodology. With offices in Midrand, Cape Town and Tzaneen, IPM is able to offer country-wide support and direction to organisations that want to achieve effective and efficient institutional performance. To this effect IPM is able to provide consultative and educational services and is accredited with LG and ETDP SETA to offer courses related to the MFMP and leadership development. Its knowledge and skills have led to an increasing demand for its services and today IPM assists a number of municipalities from very small to very large to become fully compliant with South African performance management legislation. They include, among others, Mopani and Waterberg District Municipalities and their local municipalities, City of Polokwane and City of Tshwane. The company furthermore assists organisations such as National Treasury in a variety of performance management functions, including training workshops and the development of unit standards.
