To develop trust issues.

But healing isn't about turning cold. It's about becoming clear. Clear on who you are and who's you are. Clear on what you will and won't allow. Clear on the fact that God's refinement is not about punishment—but preparation.

You're called to be a temple—sacred, open to the Holy Spirit, protected by Godly boundaries, and filled with His glory.

So yes, grieve. Get support. Name what happened. But let God restore your softness without surrendering your strength.

Have you ever been led by someone who shone brightly at first—only for their self-absorption to dim the room later on? Recent research confirms what we’ve lived: narcissistic leaders often appear charismatic or competent in unfamiliar settings—but once we get to know them, their lack of empathy and need for control emerges.

But here’s the sacred truth: nothing sneaks into our lives without purpose. God allows these hard faces and harsh voices not to break us—but to shape us. They reveal where our boundaries are weak, where our sense of worth bends, and where we need His wisdom.

Let their behavior be your mirror—not your measure. Set clear guardrails. Speak your truth. Say no when you must. And lean into His strength when words fail.

You’re being refined, not defined.

Sewing for Impact ✂️🧵 Sewing Hope, One Stitch at a Time! 🧵✂️

From scrap material donated to life-changing gifts, the amazing residents at Domino's Othandweni safe house have been busy sewing:
✅ 80 creche covers for ECDs in Amaoti and Morningside
✅ 30 ponchos for a creche on the South Coast
✅ Pajama's, toiletry bags and other goodies to bless their residents and children coming into the shelter.

🌟 Next mission: Sensory blankets for the elderly & aprons for a loyal donor Valley Fresh Vegetables And Fruits, who generously donate to the Othandweni Shelter safe every week!

💡 What should Othandweni sew next? Tag an organization that could use a blessing from these incredible survivors of exploitation that are on a mission to love and be generous.

Feel trapped? Want to escape? But cannot?

The Bill of Rights is the cornerstone of democracy in South Africa.

It enshrines the rights of all people in our country and affirms the democratic values of human dignity, equality and freedom.

According to the Bill of Rights no one may be subjected to slavery, servitude or forced labour.

Traffickers often abuse a victim’s position of vulnerability to exploit them.

The victim believes they have no reasonable alternative but to submit to the exploitation because they:
- Have poor economic or social circumstances.
- Have entered the country illegally
- Are drug addicts
- Are children, pregnant or disabled.

Often the victim does not even realise that they are a victim of trafficking.

A tear ran down my cheek as I watched this video.
I am always reminded that this life we have is so precious. The gifts you and I have are so important in making this beautiful world a better place for the future generations.
In South Africa 21 March 2022 - Will you be brave enough to ask the question - What are the rights of human's and how is this still now seen in my family, my community and my nation. How does my story align to the bigger picture of LOVE for one another?
Watching this video and exploring your God given talent/time/gifts/creativity/resources to allow others the FREEDOM you and I take for granted or perhaps still pray for around us.

If we are honest as South Africans - It is not a far journey to see where there is injustice and generational poverty roots. How much do you pay your domestic worker, Why is there a child sitting at a robot and not at school? Why does your company under pay and over work staff members? These are small and easy questions to explore and find solutions to if you are willing to step up, voice up and be a part of the solutions - It will cost you something, but the cost of silence will rob your soul and the future of those who are to come after us. If we do not get the small questions answered and explored...we will never be brave enough to tackle the human rights issues of this generation for the freedom stories of tomorrow.
