I was doing my errands today when I saw Makabongwe and Buhle across the road selling amagwinya 😋 They had those transparent buckets 🪣 You know mos I can spot igwinya from a distance 🤣 Makabongwe claims hers is tastier than Buhle’s 🤔 mmmmmm let me tool it's Valentine’s Day 🌹 You can find them at their spot daily outside Makro Montague Gardens.

The First Reno My Kitchen Campaign✨Emazenkeni 🥳

What a way to start 2026! ✨ When Chief Amagwinya Officer 🤩 started Amagwinya RSA, it was never about anything big at first, it was just about travelling the country and experiencing how one of Mzansi’s most loved delicacies is made from kasi to kasi - village village - city to city💃🏻

The Renovate My Kitchen campaign? That was an afterthought. But after thousands of kilometres and visiting incredible amagwinya joints across South Africa, it became clear what the real mission was🛣️

Chief Amagwinya Officer kicking off the year with international visits, exploring what the SADC region has to offer, starting with an exciting day at Oshetu Market in Windhoek, Namibia🇳🇦 Mme Emma welcomed us warmly, and we not only enjoyed the delicious Amagwinya, one of the market’s favorite foods, but also indulged in some mouthwatering kapana. Traveling and experiencing local delicacies like these not only offers a taste of authentic culture but also deepens our connection to the places we visit. The lively atmosphere, local hospitality, and rich flavors truly set the tone for the journey ahead. Our next stop is Lobatse in Botswana 🇧🇼 where we’re excited to continue our exploration!

Today we visited The Scone Shack in Lalaphanzi Farm - a hidden gem with beautiful surroundings and animals around 😁 Duck and friend Chicken tried to grab my carrot cake 🤣 Those two are just busy nje 🦆🐔
