Whenever I engage any session with a new client and explain how the program will roll out…I always start by asking the question “what does a risk mean to you?” And almost always I get the same answer…it’s a threat! 😬
Technically it’s not incorrect. And more often than not, risks are generally associated with something bad. But we fail to look slightly over the hedge into the OPPORTUNITIES that risk can present. 🤑 I mean no one got away with the saying “the greater the risk the greater the reward” by equating imminent danger as celebratory 🤔
For every risk (that can masquerade as a threat) there are endless opportunities! The only difference between the 2 answers to that common question is PERCEPTION! 🤓
Either we immediately identify the threat and instantaneously conclude its Armageddon, or our mind bursts with the 175 different ways to resolve it whilst creating opportunities for growth. This is the true test…and only tests bear testimonies. 🙏🏼
