🌊 World Oceans Day Beach Clean-Up 🌊
Isphepho Group is proud to have participated in today’s clean-up campaign at uShaka Beach in commemoration of World Oceans Day.
World Oceans Day serves as a reminder of the critical role oceans play in sustaining life on Earth. Oceans produce much of the oxygen we breathe, regulate our climate, support biodiversity, and provide food and livelihoods for millions of people worldwide. Protecting our oceans begins with simple actions such as reducing litter, recycling, and participating in environmental clean-up initiatives.
A heartfelt congratulations to SAAMBR, eThekwini Municipality, Mangosuthu University of Technology Waste Management Ambassadors, and all stakeholders who contributed to the success of today’s event. Together, we removed litter from the coastline and recovered recyclable materials, helping to create a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment for future generations.
Every piece of waste removed from our beaches is one less piece that could harm marine life and pollute our oceans. Together, we are making a positive impact—one beach clean-up at a time.
