Panel Be**er (OEM Production Body Shop Line – BIW) | QIRCS Client

QIRCS Technical Services is looking for a Qualified Panel Be**er / Body Repair Technician to support an OEM client within a production body shop line.

This role focuses on in-line rectification of newly manufactured BIW (Body-in-White) and structural components damaged during handling, storage, or internal logistics — not accident repair.

You will restore components to OEM production standards, ensuring dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and uninterrupted production flow.

Key Responsibilities
• Inspect and assess BIW components for handling or process-related damage
• Perform in-line rectification: dent removal, reshaping, and metal finishing
• Restore structural alignment using approved tools and fixtures
• Ensure correct fitment, gaps, and tolerances before release
• Support stripping, reassembly, and line-side operations
• Work closely with production and quality teams
• Maintain compliance with OEM standards, quality gates, and HSE requirements
• Operate within takt time and production flow constraints

Minimum Requirements
• Trade Tested Panel Be**er (Red Seal – merSETA / QCTO or equivalent)
• Panel Be**er Qualification (NQF Level 4 or equivalent)
• 2–5 years’ experience in OEM production / BIW / body shop environments
• Experience in in-line production (assembly/body shop)
• Strong skills in metal finishing and structural alignment
• Ability to work under pressure in a production environment
• Valid contactable references
