Had the pleasure of connecting with two inspiring young tech entrepreneurs — Luthando Marshall Maqondo and Busiswa Mqobho .

Luthando Marshall Maqondo is a Co-founder and CEO of APPIMATE an AI Technology Company specialising in Consumer Software Products, Services and Enterprise Solutions.

Busiswa Mqobho, Co-founder and CEO of ImithaTech Solutions, a female-led company specialising in fibre installation, splicing, testing, and maintenance.

It's encouraging to see young leaders shaping the future of tech and creating space for others in the digital economy. Grateful for the conversations and connections made.

Had the privilege of meeting Chuma Memela — entrepreneur, speaker, and AI advocate. As one of the guest speakers, he shared practical and free ways to market our businesses using AI tools, making tech more accessible and actionable for young entrepreneurs. I also had the opportunity to sit down with him, where he emphasized how the AI has unlocked opportunities for everyone — and encouraged us to explore the world of Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-driven innovation.

I had the honor of meeting Lonwabo Rani , one of the guest speakers at the event. He is the Director and Co-founder of Silulo Ulutho , a fast-growing tech company that provides affordable computer services, internet access, mobile services, and digital training in townships and rural areas.

He also owns Phanda Mzansi, a company involved in Business Consulting and Services, further contributing to the growth and support of entrepreneurs across the country.

A big thank you to ECDC - Eastern Cape Development Corporation and the of Economic Development, Environmental Affairs and Tourism for hosting an impactful session for young entrepreneurs in East London on the 26th of June 2025.
The event not only introduced us to various government programmes available for entrepreneurs, but also featured inspiring local business owners who shared their journeys and insights.
We, the youth, were given the opportunity to raise our concerns regarding the application process directly with government officials — who assured us that our voices will be taken into consideration and discussed with relevant stakeholders.
It was also a great networking opportunity to connect with fellow startups and guests. An awesome experience overall — and I truly hope to see more events like this in the future!

On the 24th of June, I officially received my Diploma in Accounting Sciences from Unisa - The University of South Africa . This moment means the world to me — not just because of the achievement itself, but because I got to make my mother proud.
She reminded me, though: "This is just the beginning."
I'm incredibly proud of how far I’ve come, and even more excited for what’s ahead.
