RECRUITING - DURBAN BASED - MIXOLOGIST/BARTENDER
We’re looking for experienced and professional mixologists in our trendy venue based in Durban.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
2–3-years previous experience in mixology and must have held a similar role
Must be able to mix ingredients to prepare signature cocktails
Excellent knowledge of cocktails, beer, spirits
Ability to prepare alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages
Offer exceptional customer service and a friendly service
Ensure and maintain cleanliness of bar and glassware
Responsible for stock take and replenishing of stock
Excellent communication skills – must be able to speak English and Afrikaans
Must be able to manage one’s stress & deal with difficult customers
Due to the nature of the position, candidate must be trustworthy
Advantageous – Have a know-how of how to pour from tap
Must have a clear criminal record
Must be a South African citizen
Own reliable transport
Grade 12 and/Bartender course
*There will be an interview-based assessment
Salary: R27.58 p/h as a minimum. Should the candidate have extensive experience a higher salary maybe considered based on the candidate’s experience
Willing to work shifts
Hours:
Weekdays - on a 2-shift cycle - 9am-9pm
Week-ends - on a 2-shift cycle – 9am-10pm
