# # The 7Ps of Marketing: A Recap
At the EmpowerHer Women in Business event, we discussed the 7Ps of marketing, a framework to consider when developing a marketing strategy for your business. Let's revisit those key elements:
**1. Product:** This refers to what you're offering, whether it's a physical product, service, or a combination of both. Think about the features and benefits that make your offering unique and valuable to your target audience.
**2. Price:** This is the value you assign to your product or service. Consider factors like cost of production, competitor pricing, and the perceived value your product offers to customers.
**3. Place:** This refers to how customers will access your product or service. This could be a physical location, an online store, or a combination of channels.
**4. Promotion:** This encompasses all your communication efforts to raise awareness of your product or service. This includes advertising, public relations, social media marketing, and more.
**5. People:** Your target audience, your team! This includes everyone involved in the customer experience, from sales staff to customer service representatives. Their knowledge, skills, and overall approach can significantly impact customer perception.
**6. Process:** This refers to the systems and procedures involved in delivering your product or service. Think about how you'll handle orders, inquiries, and customer support to ensure a smooth experience.
**7. Physical Evidence:** Physical evidence can include things like referral, reviews, your website design, brochures, customer testimonials, or even the atmosphere of your physical location (if applicable). These elements all contribute to the overall impression customers have of your business.
Remember, the 7Ps work together to create a cohesive marketing strategy. By considering each element carefully, you can increase your chances of reaching your target audience and achieving your business goals.
