📢 OFFICIAL NOTICE: CANCELLATION OF KG’S ANNUAL BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

To our valued supporters, the artists, and the entire community,
It is with deep regret and a heavy heart that Ngwetjana Lifestyle announces the official cancellation of KG’s Annual Birthday Celebration, originally scheduled for tonight, April 25th.

We have spent months planning this "All Black" experience, and we were ready to host a night to remember. However, due to a combination of severe environmental factors and logistical challenges that have arisen within the last few hours, we have been forced to make this difficult decision.
The Reasons for This Decision:

1. Hazardous Road & Travel Conditions
Following the recent heavy rainfall, the main access routes leading to the venue have become virtually impassable for standard vehicles. We have conducted a physical inspection of the roads this morning and determined that the risk of guests’ vehicles getting stuck or damaged is too high. We cannot in good conscience allow our patrons to drive in these hazardous conditions.

2. Artist & Team Logistics
With a massive lineup including Zino, Ntsako, Thee Sabubes, and many others traveling from different regions, the road conditions have created a logistical "bottleneck." Several artists have reported difficulty reaching the area with their equipment trailers. Forcing travel under these conditions puts the lives and livelihoods of our performers at risk.

3. Technical & Electrical Safety Risks
Outdoor events and high-end sound/lighting equipment do not mix with the residual moisture and mud caused by the rain. To ensure the safety of our technical crew and to prevent any electrical hazards or equipment failure during the performances, we must prioritize a dry and stable environment which we currently do not have.

4. Preserving the "All Black" Experience
You, our guests, have invested time and money into your outfits and your plans. The current state of the venue grounds—specifically the mud and dampness—would make it impossible for you to enjoy the event in the style and comfort you deserve. We would rather postpone the party than give you a subpar experience.
