BNI Inferno was treated to something truly creative when Dobbie brought her presentation theme to life. Using movies as a reference to explain how her work impacts the human mind, she transformed our meeting into a mini movie theatre experience. 🎬🍿

From the themed decorations to the popcorn, Dobbie created a fun and memorable atmosphere while still delivering an informative and valuable presentation. It was engaging, creative and a great reminder of how powerful a well-presented message can be. ✨

Using the movies The Notebook and Double Jeopardy as a comparison of two different human experiences, Dobbie explained the difference between the mental states we can find ourselves in, from stress, fear and survival mode to clarity, connection and confidence. 🧠🎥

She unpacked the concepts of Neurological Freeze and Neurological Integration, showing how these affect our mindset, decision making and the mental challenges we face in everyday life. 💭

Through MLNP, Dobbie helps people restore awareness, reduce stress responses and reconnect with their natural confidence again, helping life move from feeling like Double Jeopardy back to something closer to The Notebook. ❤️

When we give a specific ask and include the necessary details, we give each other something to remember, picture and act on. When we use words like “everybody”, “somebody”, “anybody” and “nobody”, we leave space for people to make assumptions and create an environment that is not what you were looking for. So, give your fellow members a name and a company name so they do not have to assume, but can confidently reach out to their network ✅

Last week’s BNI feature presentation was a real creative highlight ✨

We had the pleasure of hearing from Chane Olivier of Predest Designs, who gave us a behind-the-scenes look at how thoughtful design comes to life.

Chane walked us through Predest Designs' signature process, which is all about clarity, collaboration, and results:

👉 It starts with a client meeting to understand the vision
👉 A concept draft is created and shared for feedback
👉 Draft one is refined into a second draft (which is often the final version)
👉 Revisions, final checks, and a handover meeting wrap up the project
Simple, structured, and client-focused.

She also showcased some truly impressive work created for her clients — a great reminder of how strong design can elevate a brand and tell its story visually.

🆘☠️Here are a few good tips that one needs to know:🚨❗
1️⃣Gas cylinders should be 1 Meter from a door and / or window [should the gas cylinder be installed under a window it needs to be in a gas cage.]
2️⃣2 Meters from any drain or open gully
3️⃣5 Meters away from any electrical source such as; swimming pool pump, aircon motors, electric geysers, JoJo tank pumps, electric switches or outside DB Box.
