Why is it important to understand the value of silence and voice?

Silence and voice are more important but should be used at appropriate times.

In relationships, understanding when to remain silent or speak up is key. While silence can pacify tension and help restore relationships, expressing ourselves and exchanging thoughts is better once things have settled. However, when someone tries to overstep, control, or harm you in any way, it becomes important to voice your concerns.

Be a good judge of your situation. Remain silent when needed, but speak up when necessary. You can do so gently yet firmly. No matter how kind-hearted you are, ensure you’re not mistreated.
