The fighting about a Will, cousins not even knowing cousins because of a hideous fall out over the Grandfather's Will. I have an idea (also endorsed by Dorianne Cara Weil (who has done the forward of the book) on how to go forwad with the writing of Wills "sans" the horrendous fighting which carries on for generations.

Don't think because your loving family sit down at your Friday night table, or your Sunday lunch, that they wont be at each others throats over your Will . it happens, has happened, and fights of mammoth proportions can break out amongst the family.

Nice people become grabby, entitled, suddenly wanting a painting that they have always hated, but now they want it. !

NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED.

I did a huge project for X . ayment made, work done.

HOWEVER, due to non- admin on X's family member, 50 years ago, there were problems . insurmountable ones.

I offered to help her no charge, but still problems. X made a hash of filling in applications, a fews times, just messed it up, and so I ran up and down to X's home to get it corrected. Emailing was not an option.

To cut this story short, I finally suceeded through sheer determination and multiple trips up and down to a department out -of - town (100km) but I really wanted to help.

I succeeded.

I asked if she would consider giving a little something to the lady who made a lot of it possible, a few bob, or a box of chocolates, just some gesture to show gratitude for us pulling off something which is not easy, and made more difficult by the fact X kept on messing up the forms with incorrect information which was picked up.

X was horrified at my suggestion. (the less said about that the better).

I gave X a few months of my time and expertise, but X just exploited the situation and kindness shown to her.

It is a sad day when a person does this. Even go into your garden, and pick a few flowers. . it is the thought , but X had no thought for anyone or anything but herself.

My fault for offering. As I said NO good deed goes unpunished.

Had such a wonderful audience last night at the Games room, BHH Sandton, and I think when one speaks, and people are nodding their heads in agreement, you know you are reaching them.

And as an author, when your readers tell you that they didnt want the book to end, you know you have reached them.

That is what it is all about, for me.

in 2009 I wrote an article and I dont know whether to be annoyed or flattered. this article has gone around the world since then, but some fool once took the beginning of it out, (It wasnt in a pdf format). another fool took my name out, another fool said he wrote the article himself, and the whole of facebook fell over themselves thanking him. Another fool took my photos off.

Happy that the article is popular, but furious that it was cut to shreds by some bird-brains..

When people are reading your book TWICE then you know you are reaching them. And that is all an Author wants, to reach their readers.
Very excited that people are getting something out of both my books.

Another successful case case completed. This time for my client Brian GOSSCHALK with his French Passport( and gave me permission to use his photo and his message to me.)

I was invited to Cape Town for the Jewish Literary Festival 21st March and it was an amazing week. Today I got word from the Cape Town organizers that my talk went down very well as did my book. And they are looking forward to my next book. I met wonderful people and they also had Simon Sebag Montefiore from the UK speaking on his brilliant book. Pieter Dirk Uys talking on how he discovered he was actually Jewish, Mandy Wiener and Des Lindbergh as well as many great brains and then there was me (Std 😎 but I held my own (I hope!) Prof Tanja Sakota was also on the same panel as me

Cape Town is a beautiful city and I found it spotless, clean, no potholes, and understand why so many people so and live there.

Wishing everyone a Happy and Koshere Pesach, Good Shabbos and a very Happy Easter with delicious Easter Eggs.
