The gorgeous heels you absolutely loved. The ones that are still too beautiful to throw away, but haven't left your wardrobe in ages.

We have another walk for them. 💗

On 10 October 2026, men will be stepping into heels at Cedar Square, Fourways as part of our Men in Heels Walkathon, raising awareness around breast and prostate cancer in men, early detection and the importance of getting checked.

And we need heels for our walkers!

We're calling on ladies to donate their clean, wearable, pretty-loved heels and give them a new purpose. 👠

Your stilettos could quite literally help a man take his steps for cancer awareness.

And ladies, you don't have to stop at donating. You're welcome to register, attend and walk with us too. Bring your friends, partners, brothers, colleagues and families — this conversation belongs to all of us.

👟 MEN WALKING IN SNEAKERS ARE ALSO WELCOME.
The R200 participation fee still applies and contributes towards the costs of staging the event, including our cancer awareness demonstration and educational talk on the day.

One of our very first Marang in Action outreach programmes in Limpopo.

Founded in 2013, Marang in Action empowers 24 girls (Grades 7–9) through mentorship, career guidance and dignity.

Together with LO teachers, we connect learners with inspiring women who encourage them to dream bigger and make informed career choices.

I took Marang to Mandela House because our children must know where we come from and whose shoulders we stand on. The youth of 1976 changed the course of our country's history through their bravery and sacrifice.

As we walked through these historic spaces, I was reminded that freedom is not something to take for granted. It was fought for by young people not much older than the children we are raising today.

May we continue to teach our children our history, our struggles, our victories, and our responsibility to carry the torch forward.
