◼️ *REPORT:

Abovementioned members received information about an active cable theft in progress

Members immediately mobilised to Willem botha and Piet hugo. As members approach ed the suspects they started to evade arrest. The area was cordoned off and the 3 suspects on was successfully detained. The get away vehicle tried to flee but members successfully blocked the vehicle inside Wierdapark taxi rank whereby another 2 suspects were apprehended.

*OPERATIONAL OVERVIEW:*

On 27 August 2026, intelligence was received regarding a silver BMW that had been positively linked to multiple theft-related incidents.

Following further intelligence gathering and analysis, it was established that the vehicle was travelling through the CBD area in the direction of Valhalla.

Operational teams were strategically deployed at key positions along the vehicle's anticipated route in preparation for an interception.

Shortly thereafter, operational members obtained visual confirmation of the vehicle and successfully executed a takedown operation.

Two suspects were detained at the scene.
The vehicle, which was confirmed to have been used in the commission of crime, was recovered and subsequently processed by LCRC for further investigation and evidential purposes.

🔥 *SUCCESS REPORT* 🔥

*INCIDENT OVERVIEW:*

On 7 August, a house robbery occurred in Centurion.
During the investigation, a white Toyota Corolla fitted with cloned registration plates was identified as the vehicle used by the suspects.

Following the incident, the operational teams continued gathering intelligence and monitoring the vehicle.
On 14 August, intelligence confirmed that the same vehicle had returned to the Centurion area, displaying the same cloned registration plates that had been fitted to the vehicle during the 7 August robbery.

The teams immediately coordinated their efforts and commenced an operational search for the vehicle.
Intelligence indicated that the suspects were actively operating in the area and scouting for another property to target.

*OPERATIONAL SUCCESS:*

The suspect vehicle was located by the operational teams, and surveillance was maintained.
A pursuit ensued, resulting in the vehicle being successfully intercepted.

The vehicle was found to be loaded with stolen property, following a house robbery that had just taken place in The Reeds, Centurion.

During the robbery, the suspects had tied up two children inside the residence.

A total of five suspects — four males and one female — were successfully apprehended at the scene.
The suspect vehicle was secured, and numerous stolen items were recovered.

The swift coordination between the various operational teams, combined with effective intelligence gathering and surveillance, enabled the suspects to be located and intercepted before they could leave the area.

On 2026/08/12 at about 10:31 a lookout was received of a Red Jeep in the Valhalla area to attempt house breaking. The vehicle was spotted by SAPS Diplomatic unit and a chase ensued all the way to town where 2 of the suspects was apprehended and the vehicle was recovered with false number plates and various breaking tools. It was later established that the vehicle was also reported stolen in PTA Moot.
