Today, our handcrafted selection includes MCC Brut, MCC Brut Rosé, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Shiraz, and our flagship Pinot Noir. Each grape is hand-harvested to ensure premium quality, bringing out the best flavours from our distinctive high-altitude vineyards. Four w**es. Four Gold medals. One unmistakable message.

At the Michelangelo International W**e & Spirits Awards 2026, Lord's W**es was awarded Gold for our Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Three Barrel Chardonnay and Chardonnay. Four bottles, each carrying the story of McGregor's high altitude vineyards and the patience it takes to make w**e worth waiting for.

We do not chase accolades. We chase character in every glass, from the first pour to the last. When the two arrive together, as they have this year, it feels like confirmation that the long days in the vineyard and the quiet years in barrel were never wasted.

Spring has a way of arriving quietly in McGregor. One morning the vineyards are bare, and the next there is a green haze creeping along the rows, and the light stretches a little longer over the valley.

We think Spring Day deserves a toast. Pour something cold and something worth celebrating.

Our MCC Brut and MCC Brut Rosé are made for exactly this kind of season, bright, fine-bubbled w**es that belong at long lunches, garden gatherings, and any excuse to raise a glass to warmer days ahead. National Shiraz Day 🍷

There is a particular kind of quiet that settles over McGregor in the late afternoon, when the Robertson Valley light turns gold and the vines seem to hold their breath. It is in that quiet that our Shiraz finds its character: dark, generous, unhurried.

Today, on National Shiraz Day, we raise a glass to the variety that has given us some of our most memorable w**es. Ours is grown on the slopes that catch the last of the day's sun, hand-harvested and left to develop the depth we have come to expect from this valley: notes of dark plum and cracked pepper, a warmth that lingers, and a structure built to age.

We happen to have four ways to celebrate. Our classic Shiraz, bold and true to the valley. The Shiraz Rosé, for those who want the fruit without the weight. Father Time Shiraz, patient and considered, built for the long evenings it deserves. And the Three Barrel Shiraz, our most intense expression, aged to reward the slowest of sips.

The Founder's W**e Club Weekend returns.

From 2 to 4 October 2026, we open our cellar doors to welcome members back to McGregor for a weekend built around the w**es we love most, the terroir that shapes them, and the company that makes it all worthwhile.

Expect a Friday braai under the stars with a glass of MCC Brut Rosé in hand, a Saturday spent between the barrel room and the lawn, and an evening at the table for The Terroir Elements, our four course dinner paired with new release w**es. We close the weekend the way every good weekend should end, with breakfast, a lucky draw, and a gift bag to take home.

W**e has never been made by one pair of hands.

Today we’re thinking of the women across this industry who don’t always get the credit line. The w**emakers crafting the blends. The women who own and run the farms. The sommeliers who taught us to taste properly. The women behind the counters, the export desks, the marketing plans, the harvest teams.

And the women behind the men who receive the recognition. The wives who kept the books, raised the children and ran the household while the harvest took everything. The mothers and partners whose quiet work built the foundations these farms still stand on, even when history forgot to write them in.

We’re also thinking of the women who choose Lord’s, again and again, to mark their own celebrations, their Sundays, their quiet wins.

This is an industry built on patience, precision and care, qualities women have brought to it for generations, often with far less recognition than they deserved.

So today, we say thank you. To the women who make w**e, sell w**e, serve w**e, support the ones who do, and simply enjoy it with the people they love. This one’s for you.

The road out of McGregor goes further than most people imagine.

At the Magic Spoon at Avalon Golf Estate in Mauritius, four Lord’s w**es hold their place on the list. The Sauvignon Blanc, cool and clean, the kind of glass that suits a warm afternoon and a long view of the fairway. The Chardonnay, unwooded and unhurried, all citrus and orchard fruit with nothing standing between you and the grape. The Pinot Noir, soft and red fruited. And the Shiraz, generous and dark, made for the closing hour of an evening.

The road home is open again.

The bridge between McGregor and Robertson has reopened, and with it, the road home to us. After the floods tested this valley in ways we won’t soon forget, the familiar route back to Lord’s W**es is once more yours to travel.

We know this road well. It winds past vineyards heavy with memory, through a landscape that asks you to slow down before you’ve even arrived. That unhurried feeling, the quiet that settles in the moment McGregor comes into view, is waiting for you again.

Come find your way back to us. Sit a while, pour something from the barrel, and let the pace of this valley remind you what rest actually feels like.

But before we welcome you back, we want to pause and say thank you. To every engineer, worker, and team who laboured to rebuild this bridge, we are deeply grateful. Your work has done more than restore a road. It has kept McGregor’s farms and businesses connected to the world, and allowed a community to keep doing what it does best.
