Blast Monitoring Video done for a Client on an Opencast Coal Mine.

This Overburden blast was done directly under a powerline.

The pylon was 77m away from the end of the blasting block, with a seismograph stationed 51m away from the bench.

With the Powerline having a max PPV limit of 75mm/s , everything had to be perfect to avoid damage to the line and pylon.

Accurate Designs and good Quality control produced just that.

No damage to the structures occured.
