I would like to nominate this beloved, humble and soft spoken guy by the name of Sanele Nxumalo.
He has helped the youth in our community by employing them. They are about 17 young people that are working for him and 3 are permanent if I am not mistaken. Some were gang members and he helped them live a normal life. He has been a motivation to many, from photographers to other business people. Some well known photographers were mentored or coached by him. Many businesses arose under him. Sanele’s business benefits even other businesses, including transport businesses.
He stands as a great leader in their family business, encouraging our youth to build the life they want to live in a right way. Drug addicts changed when started working for him. He created drivers (taking them to driving schools) and obtained licenses, pushing them to fix their homes. I believe he needs to be honored. He has put others first and now, I believe we have to put him first. Shine mphathi!
