The right gradient keeps things moving. 💧

When a drainage pipe is too shallow, water and solids may move too slowly and begin to settle. When it is too steep, water can move ahead while solids are left behind—both scenarios can increase the risk of blockages.

For the 110 mm domestic drainage application shown, a gradient between 1:40 and 1:60 helps water and solids move through the system together.
