After way too much procrastinating, I finally decided to measure the Transmission Distance (TD) of some of our filament rolls for HueForge.

Because apparently selling filament wasn’t enough work, now I’m scientifically investigating how light travels through tiny plastic spaghetti.

I’ll slowly be adding the measured TD values to the website for more accurate HueForge prints.

Did I procrastinate? Absolutely.
Will I measure all the rolls? Eventually… probably.

Finally! We have a video and actual prints of our PLA Silk range.

It took me a while to get here, but persistence was key… along with a healthy dose of procrastination.

Now I just need to defeat my laziness and actually get all the colours uploaded to the website.

With fuel prices expected to rise again, it’s becoming cheaper to stay home and enjoy your 3D printer.

Here’s a sneak peek at a few of the new PLA Silk colours we’re getting ready to add to the range.

Hopefully, they’ll make it onto the website before the next fuel price hike… because if you’re going to spend money on something that shines, it might as well be PLA Silk instead of the fuel light on your car!

Let’s just say moving house and renovations have been giving me more layers than a 3D printer!

But enough about the dust and paint…
