Every closed door, all the waiting and longing, every unanswered prayer has a purpose you can't yet see. 🙏🏽

Sometimes ambassadorship does not look like a platform, a title or a microphone.

Sometimes ambassadorship looks like motherhood.

Showing up every day.
Holding a family together while carrying your own grief.
Continuing to nurture, guide and pour out when life has stretched you beyond what you imagined.

This week on On Assignment — deployed and not employed, I’m joined by Mercia Jacobs for a deeply honest conversation on motherhood, loss, resilience and faithfulness through changing seasons of life.

As a widow and single mother, Mercia shares her journey of rebuilding, remaining present for her children and continuing in faith through some of life’s most difficult moments.

And perhaps that is what Kingdom ambassadorship also looks like sometimes, remaining faithful in the assignment God has placed in your hands, even when nobody sees the weight of carrying it.
