We are a married couple originally from South Africa. All together we’ve been traveling for 14 years, working and living in different countries – UAE being the 4th country. Even though we love traveling, working and living abroad, we feel that it’s time to return to our Home Country to settle down. With our total of 14 years’ experience of working and living abroad, we want to share our experience with other people, and give them the opportunity to experience what we have experience – especially while working in UAE, since it’s truly a Growing Hospitality Focused Country. •Create high quality and creative bakery products to satisfy the customer

As a Chief Steward you are responsible to enforce the highest possible cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food processing facilities, as well as the operating equipment and your role will include key responsibilities such as:

•Provide functional assistance and direction and be responsible for the smooth running of the whole stewarding operation
•Supervise the duties of all stewarding department employees, facilities, operation and costs
•Supervise the sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene as well as the quality level of product and services
•Check more specifically the proper use of chemicals and washing accessories
•Establish minimum and maximum operating par stocks and supplies and approve storeroom requisition
•Co-ordinate with the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager or Outlet Manager to check their requirements for the day and the next day
•Maintain health inspection record, attendance record and file on casual employees
•Take all necessary actions to reduce the loss of silverware / flatware

As a Stewarding Shift Leader you are responsible to ensure the highest possible cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food processing facilities, as well as the operating equipment’s, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:

•Supervise the duties of all stewarding department employees
•Supervise the consumption of all stewarding chemicals on a daily basis
•Supervise the sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene, as well as the quality level of product and services
•Ensure that all stewarding employees follow safety instructions whilst cleaning machinery
•Conduct regular checks to ensure that service and kitchen operating equipment is properly cleaned
•Control and document all outgoing equipment and ensure the proper receiving upon return
•Participate in the monthly and annual inventory and prepare payroll related documents, prior to their submission to the Department Head
•Attend all regular Food & Beverage department meetings and conduct at least one monthly meeting with Stewarding employees to ensure open communication flow amongst the team
•Assure that the emergency exits are always in clean condition and absolutely free of any obstacle and the exit door is easy to open from inside
