📚💙 Standing up for education, support and respect.

Members of our Men@Work team recently visitedOngoye High School for a meaningful engagement focused on the importance of education, encouragement and taking a stand against bullying.

⭐Scelo Msane, Men@Work Chairperson, shared words of motivation and support with learners, while Chris Visagie spoke about the power of education in shaping brighter futures. The Imbumba Foundation also joined the discussion, providing valuable insights on bullying and how we can all contribute to creating safer, more supportive school environments.💛

We hosted our second Long Service Awards celebration on Monday, honouring employees who have reached remarkable milestones ranging from 5 to 40 years of service at Hillside.

🎶The evening was such a vibe, brought to life by a captivating performance by Saliwa Sentombi Ndunakazi, the Empangeni High School band and expertly hosted by Carol Ofori, whose professionalism helped make the occasion truly memorable. 💛

To all our recipients, congratulations and thank you for your loyalty, hard work and the impact you have made over the past 30 years.

📢The Dr Xolani Mkhwanazi South32 Bursary Scheme is offering a limited number of tertiary bursaries for 2027 to deserving applicants who reside in the King Cetshwayo District.

If you are currently a Grade 12 learner, or if you have already passed Grade 12, under the age of 21, and would like to study full time towards an undergraduate degree/diploma, this bursary scheme could be just what you are looking for. The typical disciplines most suitable for this application include, but are not restricted to, the following studies:

We were honoured to support His Majesty King Misuzulu kaZwelithini's uMkhosi woMhlanga (Reed Dance) this year, contributing 1000 mattresses and toiletry kits for the young women participating in the ceremony.💛

🫶A special thank you to our partner, Zikuthaliseni, for sponsoring the transport of the goods and ensuring they reached the young women in time for this important event.

Members of our team also had the privilege of attending the ceremony this past weekend, witnessing the rich heritage, and traditions that make this occasion so significant.

⭐uMkhosi woMhlanga plays a vital role in preserving cultural heritage while educating young women on important cultural values. The event promotes social cohesion, encourages community participation, and provides a platform to address issues affecting young women. Open to maidens from across South Africa, it offers an inclusive opportunity to celebrate, experience, and learn about this cherished Zulu tradition.
