I am an Inner Leadership / life Coach offering an Integrated and Innovative approach to assist you to connect to your Inner wisdom which will guide you to be Authentic, Empathetic, and enjoy a sense of Balance and Well-being. My interest is to work with Women Leaders and individuals, who are wanting to connect to their inner wisdom, to be Authentic, Empathetic and enjoy a sense of Balance and Well

-being. WHY WOULD YOU CHOOSE ME AS YOUR COACH? I have 30 years experience of working with body, mind, spirit with a diversity of individuals in many different settings. My training incorporates academic and practical training as a professional nurse, a three year Diploma in Psychophonetics which includes Counselling, Coaching and Leadership and BA Honors in Psychology. The depth of this academic training, my life experience, my personal Inner Journey work and my intuition is what I bring to session. MY APPROACH IS TO

Did a mindful walk in the serenity of Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens yesterday with Moira Burmeister Inner Leadership / Life Coaching.

It was great to unplug and enjoy a morning of being mindful and appreciative of the beauty that is nature!

This is the only photo my sister took before we switched off to reconnect with the earth. I hugged a tree, saw a freshwater crab camouflage itself against a thick wet tree root and skipped like a 3-year old girl down a grassy hill.

It was amazingly healing and gave me fresh perspective on my purpose and daily intentions.

If ever you feel drained, disconnected, deurmekaar, and out of control I would really highly recommend participating in a mindful exercise with kind, generous and professional Moira 🤗🌷

A mindful walk is about slowing your pace, connecting to nature using all your senses. This brings you into the present, leaving you feeling calm, relaxed and having a sense of clarity. Your well-being is enhanced as your blood pressure drops, your stress levels balance and the negative ions of nature harmonise your body. In Japan they call it forest bathing.

7 TIPS TO IMPROVE MENTAL WELL-BEING

Challenging times cause stress and uncertainty but it's also an opportunity to really CARE for yourself and others

1. Check-in - how are you feeling, responding, reacting? What are your triggers? This impacts not only you but your family, friends and work colleagues. Being self-aware enables you to make new choices and alter your impact on the world.

2. Self-care is vital to mental well-being - Breathe, take time out, rest, sleep and do activities that bring you joy!

3. Treat yourself and others with gentleness, kindness and compassion. We are living in extra-ordinary times which are challenging and can result in stress, anxiety and a sense of hopelessness.

4. Use Empathy, Caring, Understanding and Non-judgement towards others. You have no idea what others are going through, everyone has different coping mechanisms.

5. Ensure Communication is regular, clear and consistent particularly when change is happening.

6. Set clear boundaries, this alleviates stress and uncertainty.

7. Seek psychological support if you are not coping.

Awareness is the essence of meaningful communication in all our relationships, personal or work colleagues. The greater our self-awareness the less we impact other peoples lives with our past hurt, anger and pain.

If your habitual thoughts and patterns are affecting your relationships, consider doing a few Coaching sessions to free you and the other.
