TUESDAY — INDUSTRY INTELLIGENCE

Your Reviews Are Doing More Selling Than Your Ads.

An ad makes a claim. A review provides evidence.

For e-commerce brands, reviews and user-generated content can be some of your most powerful conversion assets—but only if you deliberately generate and manage them.

Ask yourself:

Do you know your review generation rate?

Are you asking at the right moment?

Is leaving a review easy?

Are you using negative reviews to build trust?

BAAC Insight:“An ad makes a claim. A review is evidence. Shoppers trust evidence more than claims.”

MONDAY — SCALE SMARTER

Your Best Salesperson Doesn't Work for You.

Your best customers may already be your best salespeople.

Referrals bring trust, credibility, and often better-fit customers — yet most businesses simply wait for them to happen.

The problem?

A referral isn't luck. It's a system.

Ask yourself:

↳ Which of your happiest clients have you never asked for an introduction?

↳ When is the best moment to ask?

↳ Are you tracking referrals as part of your growth strategy?

The channel that produces your best customers is often the one you've invested in least.

BAAC Insight: Your reputation is already a marketing asset. Start using it deliberately.

What pricing decision have you been avoiding?

A client rate that hasn’t changed. An underpriced service. An offer waiting for the right price.

Don’t review everything. Choose one decision. Name it. Date it. Have the conversation.

The cost of one uncomfortable conversation is often smaller than the cost of avoiding it.

BAAC Insight: One resolved pricing decision can change your margin.

Your cheapest plan might be attracting your most expensive customers.

Low-tier SaaS customers can consume disproportionate support while generating the least revenue.

Don’t just measure revenue by pricing tier. Measure support costs, ticket volume, and upgrade rates.

Is your cheapest plan a genuine growth funnel—or a costly holding pattern?

BAAC Insight: Not every customer is a good customer just because they’re paying something.

When margins feel tight, don't assume the price is the problem.

Sometimes the issue isn't that your price is too high or too low.

It's that the value hasn't been properly explained.

If clients understand the value and still challenge the number, you may have a pricing problem.

If they challenge the price before engaging with the value, you likely have a justification gap.

Build the value case first. Then attach the price.

Because raising the price without strengthening the value proposition doesn't fix the gap — it just makes the unexplained number bigger.

BAAC Insight: “A price increase on top of an unexplained value proposition doesn't fix the gap. It just makes the unexplained number bigger.”

THURSDAY — INDUSTRY FINANCIAL INTELLIGENCE

The Client Who Always Negotiates Your Rate Down Is Costing You More Than You Think

Every transport business has one: the customer who negotiates every rate down, demands more, and still takes up significant fleet capacity.

The problem isn't just the discounted rate.

It’s the true cost to serve — including service demands, administration, repeated negotiations, fleet capacity, and the higher-margin opportunities that capacity could have supported.

A high-volume customer isn't necessarily a profitable customer.

Use the scoring guide in the illustration to rate your business honestly. Look at your customer margins, negotiation patterns, fleet capacity and cost to serve.

Then ask yourself:

“If we lost our toughest negotiator tomorrow, would our margin improve or worsen?”

Knowing your true margin by customer helps you make better decisions about pricing, capacity and growth.

BAAC Insight:
“The customer who negotiates hardest isn't always your best customer. Sometimes they're your most expensive one.”

Revenue growth is worth celebrating — but what’s slowly eating away at it?

Every business wants to see revenue going up.

But behind that growth, there could be cashflow leaks quietly draining the business — rising acquisition costs, unnecessary discounting, expensive onboarding, poor retention, or customers who simply aren't worth what it costs to win them.

Episode 10 of The GrowthFormula™ is now out:

🎥 The Hidden Cost of Every New Customer You Win

Because revenue tells you what came in.

Acquisition cost tells you what it took to get there.

𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐎 — 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐍. 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐂𝐓. 𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐖.

Our Marketing Team had the opportunity to attend the Marketing Expo, connecting with industry professionals, exploring new ideas, and gaining valuable insights into the evolving marketing landscape.

It was a great opportunity to exchange ideas, discover new perspectives, and stay informed on the trends shaping how businesses connect with their audiences.

We came away with fresh ideas, meaningful connections, and plenty of inspiration to take back into our work.

Because staying ahead starts with staying curious. 🚀

Every new customer comes with a cost.

Not just the money you spend to acquire them, but the time, resources, discounts, sales effort and onboarding required to turn that customer into a profitable relationship.

If your onboarding process is inefficient, every new customer becomes more expensive to serve.

And as you grow, that hidden cost can quietly eat into the revenue you're working so hard to generate.

The goal isn't simply to acquire more customers.

It's to build an acquisition and onboarding system that makes each new customer more profitable, easier to serve and more valuable over time.

Because sometimes the answer to reducing customer acquisition costs isn't spending less on marketing.

It's improving what happens after the sale.
