On this official Cap Classique Day, we are proud to share that Tim Atkin MW, Master of Wine, awarded seven of our Cap Classiques medals of excellence.

Our Kaaimansgat Blanc de Blancs got 95 points for the 2022 vintage and Twee Jonge Gezellen RD 2016 Vintage Release received the 2026 Sparkling Wine Discoveries Of The Year. Included in the top honours are our Amphora 2023 with 93 points, Blancs de Blancs 2022 with 92 points, Borealis Cuvée Brut 2024 with 90 points, Koelfontein Blanc de Blancs 2020 with 94 points and Twee Jonge Gezellen Blanc de Blancs 2022 with 93.

“My work is not predetermined; I can’t work that way around. I’ve tried, and there’s so much resistance from my thoughts, my body - everything resists. It’s interesting because this is completely in contrast to how I am as a person in my daily life.
