RAISE A CHILD PROGRAMME

Programme Overview
Raise a Child is a youth development and empowerment programme designed to support learners in Grades 10 to 12 by providing mentorship, financial assistance, educational support and practical skills development.
The programme aims to identify promising young people, particularly those facing financial challenges, and give them the resources, guidance and opportunities they need to succeed academically, develop entrepreneurial thinking and prepare for life beyond high school.
We believe that every child deserves an opportunity to build a better future, regardless of their background or financial circumstances.

To empower young people through education, mentorship, financial support and practical skills, enabling them to become independent, responsible and successful individuals who can contribute positively to their communities.
What the Programme Will Offer
1. Monthly Stipend
Selected learners will receive a monthly stipend to assist with essential personal and educational needs, helping to reduce some of the financial pressure they experience while attending school.
2. School Uniform Sponsorship
The programme will assist selected learners with school uniforms to ensure they can attend school with dignity, confidence and a sense of belonging.
3. Business and Entrepreneurship Training
Learners will be introduced to entrepreneurship, business management, financial literacy, marketing, customer service and the fundamentals of starting and running a business.
4. Technical Skills Development
Participants will receive practical exposure to relevant technical and digital skills, including computer literacy, basic IT support, digital tools and other technology-related skills.
5. Mentorship and Personal Development
Each participant will be guided to develop discipline, confidence, leadership, communication skills, goal-setting habits and a positive attitude towards education and personal growth.
6. Career Guidance and Future Opportunities
The programme will help learners explore career options, prepare for further education and identify opportunities in entrepreneurship, technology and the workplace.
Who Can Apply?
The programme is intended for learners currently in Grades 10, 11 and 12. Priority may be given to learners from financially disadvantaged households who demonstrate commitment to their education, a willingness to learn and an interest in personal development.
