How vacuous has American politics and international relations become. Need to delink from US$ - the sooner the better.

The punitive tariff Trump has just imposed on lumber is egregious protectionism. Let’s get to the table quickly and see what can be done. We have nothing to fear in negotiating, but, to borrow President Kennedy’s apt phrase, we don’t negotiate out of fear.

Greetings All, herewith the latest Dam levels in the Western Cape: WEMMERSHOEK 100.2%, STEENBRAS LOWER 100.3%, STEENBRAS UPPER 101.3%, VOELVLEI 101.0%, THEEWATERSKLOOF 102.8%,
BERG RIVER 100.7%. It might look good with the high figures but the summer days will be long and hot, please use iwater sparingly, every drop counts...
