EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES – MINING SECTOR
Brooke Consultancy Limited, on behalf of a reputable mining client, invites applications from suitably qualified, competent, and experienced Zambian professionals to fill the following positions:
Vacant Positions
1. Human Resources Manager
*Must be a fully paid-up member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM)
*Proven experience in industrial relations, labour law compliance, and HR systems within a mining or industrial environment will be an added advantage
2. Finance Manager
*Must be a Chartered Accountant (ZICA/ACCA)
*Demonstrated experience in financial controls, statutory compliance, budgeting, and reporting within the mining or heavy industry sector.
3. Senior Geologist x1
*Relevant Degree in Geology
*Minimum of 6 years practical experience in exploration, sampling, logging, and reporting in a mining environment.
4. Junior Geologist x1
*Relevant degree in Geology
*Minimum 3 years of Practical experience in exploration, sampling, logging, and reporting in a mining environment.
5. Mine Surveyor
*Recognized qualification in Mine Surveying
*Experience in underground and/or open-pit surveying, mine planning support, and statutory survey reporting.
6. Chef (Specializing in Indian Cuisine)
*Proven experience in preparation of Indian meals for camp or institutional catering
*Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and camp catering standards.
7. Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Drivers – 3 Positions
*Valid Class C or better driver’s licence
Defensive driving certification and experience operating in mining or remote site environments will be an advantage.
*Knowledge of Mufumbwe geography
**Minimum Requirements (Applicable to All Positions)
*Minimum of six (6) years relevant post-qualification work experience.
*Prior experience in the mining, construction, or heavy industrial sector will be an added advantage.
*Strong commitment to occupational health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
*Ability to work under pressure and in remote site locations.
*High levels of professionalism, integrity, and teamwork
