NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF ZAMBIA
ANNOUNCEMENT
The Clerk of the National Assembly, Mrs Loveness Maambo Mayaka, wishes to inform all newly elected Members of Parliament that they are required to report to the National Assembly for registration and orientation in preparation for the commencement of the Fourteenth National Assembly.
Accordingly, all newly elected Members of Parliament are required to report to Parliament Buildings on Sunday, 30th August, 2026.
Honourable Members are required to provide copies of the following documents:
i. National Registration Card (NRC);
ii. Spouse’s National Registration Card, where applicable;
iii. Parents’ National Registration Cards, where applicable;
iv. Children’s Birth Records, where applicable;
v. Marriage Certificate or Affidavit of Marriage, where applicable;
vi. Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA)-verified qualifications; and
vii. Passport, if available.
In addition, Honourable Members are expected to provide the relevant records/details of the following:
i. Taxpayer Identification Number (TPIN);
ii. National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) social security number, where applicable; and
iii. banking details/records.
Members are urged to ensure that all required documentation is readily available to facilitate a smooth and efficient registration process.
