THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITION (SBC)

K49,000 to Seven (7) people.

Every year, as a way of paying back to the community, we support a few people with business ideas, but lacking capital, to get kick-started. Last year, in order to support this initiative, K45,000 was awarded to fifteen (15) people through a business competition.

This year, seven (7) deserving people will be awarded with K49,000 (K7,000 each). This is meant to help these individuals start a small business or boost an already existing one. This will be done through a fair and transparent business competition. If you think you have a business idea needing K7,000 to start, then this opportunity is for you.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
1. Share this post now (this will be verified at the initial shortlisting stage).

2. In the comments section, state what you need the K7,000 for; Is it to start a new business or boost an already existing one? (this will also be verified).

Note: Don’t share your business idea or proposal in the comments section.

3. Using the link below complete the form and submit it no later than 7th November, 2025. No participation fee is required.

My two cents from this Caption.

A man does not need to prove his love to someone he loves. They should Align. They should find the reason that makes them want to be with each other. She must see better with her eyes closed. Because at times things may come that would try to destabilize the relationship. That is why it is called Submission.

The Journey of an entrepreneur is a very sad one and if you are not careful you can lose it. Because you will have to give up a lot of things for you to make an impact in this world.

You need to get to balance and harness your innovative side and it requires and eats up so much of yout time such that if you are not careful you actually may not realize it.

But it is okay, it is you who knows the Impact you seek to bring and it is not a smooth race to reach there. Go and be a Champion.

WORLD VISION ZAMBIA DONATES BICYCLES AND BAGS TO LEARNERS.
15-year-old Jane Nakamba, a pupil from Nakamala village, has been facing a tough journey to access her education at Kalungu Day Secondary in Isoka District.
Covering a grueling 9 km daily to reach school, Jane, like many others, has been grappling with physical fatigue, emotional strain, and academic disruption.
However, a ray of hope has shone upon Jane and her peers as they received bicycles from World Vision Zambia in collaboration with Zambia National Commercial Bank Zanaco under the "Strong Zambia, Strong Company" project.
This initiative aims to support school going children , especially girls, who travel long distances to attend school.
Speaking during the handover of 30 bicycles and 130 learner parks to beneficiaries yesterday at Kalungu Secondary School, World Vision Zambia's Area Manager, Cecilia Mfula, expressed the organization's dedication to enhancing the education of school-going children.
Ms Mfula emphasized the importance of providing bicycles to ease the commute to school, particularly for girls like Jane.
Meanwhile , Isoka District Education Standard Officer, Martin Sichivula, praised World Vision and its partners for their generous donation.
He highlighted the positive impact the bicycles will have in alleviating the challenges faced by learners in reaching school and urged the beneficiaries to take good care of their new means of transportation.
With the donation of bicycles, Jane and her classmates can now look forward to a smoother and more efficient journey to school.
The physical and emotional toll of covering long distances on foot will be significantly reduced, allowing them to focus more on their studies and overall well-being.
