Key Responsibilities:
🔹Develop and implement distribution strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
🔹Coordinate with production, warehouse, and transportation teams to ensure seamless flow of goods throughout the supply chain.
🔹Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to meet demand.
🔹Achievement and monitor agreed growth targets
🔹Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards in all distribution activities.
🔹Evaluate and select transportation providers and negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms.
🔹Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including suppliers, carriers, and customers.
🔹Analyze distribution performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
🔹Responsible for Dynamic Forecasting and Demand Planning.
🔹Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for distribution processes.
Qualifications:
🔹Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Masters Degree will be an added advantage.
🔹Proven experience in distribution or logistics management, preferably in a similar industry.
🔹Strong understanding of distribution operations, inventory management, and transportation logistics.
🔹Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
🔹Proficiency in using distribution management software and systems.
🔹Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
🔹Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
🔹Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards related to distribution activities.
